Synopsis

8th January
In our group (Pink Productions) we have been given a task to shoot a 2-minute film and our group have chosen to film under the genre Chick flick/Crime. At the beginning of the sequence we start to introduce the characters, we have chosen to have four young girls for the main location where we will be shooting most of the film. The film starts by hearing fast upbeat music, continuing with this music the camera shot will then do a quick cut to a girl putting on pink lipstick, however you can not see her whole face you only see from her chin to her nose. The camera will then pass to another quick cut to the second girl putting on her red stilettos. This will be a close up of her feet, putting the high heels on, and again you do not see her face this scene will end with the girl walking off and the camera will go to a close up. The third girl you see her putting lots of hairspray in her hair, which will make it misty around the camera , this will then dissolve into the final and forth girl putting her coat on and walking out of the door without seeing her face or any of the other girls faces.

We then see the four girls making their own way to London still without seeing any of their faces. One of the girls travels by bus; the camera focuses on the lower part of her body and not her face, close up shots and tracing of her walking, then stepping on to the bus. She then takes her ipod out, the camera does a close up of the ipod of her selecting a song. When she does, the music starts which will go faster and upbeat, when we see her turn the sound up, so does the music. this when cut to a close up of the girl tapping her stiletto to the rhythm of the music. the camera shot then dissolves to the second girl, the camera will be following her stilettos as she walks, tracking, and you see her bump into another person. She drops her things such as lipstick, compact mirror, and makeup. She starts to pick her items of the floor and as she picks up the compact mirror , the camera quickly zooms into the mirror to the third girl whilst putting lip-gloss on. She quickly shuts it and then we see her reading a magazine at a low angle shot so we cannot see her face. The final girl we see a close up of a carton of coffee, we see her pick it up, the camera still in the same place,then she puts it down again with a lipstick print around the rim of the carton. As the train stops in london station, the camera will do a quick cut for each girl coming off the train and making their way into the town centre, this will involve tracking. The four girls all walk in at the same time and as the do, the camera slowly zooms up from their stilettos up towards their faces, and finally we see their identity.
